The Channel Company highlights a group of rising female stars each year. Barracuda MSP is excited to announce that Joelle Cangelosi, Team Lead, Partner Enablement for the SKOUT Managed XDR group at Barracuda, has been recognized as a 2022 Rising Female Star of the IT Channel.
The women that are awarded this prestigious honor exemplify perseverance, a positive can-do attitude, and a whole lot of toughness.
As the Team Lead of the Enablement Team, Joelle handles all VIP and Bulk onboardings that require expert knowledge, experience, and care. She acts as a project manager in ensuring onboardings run smoothly, according to schedule and ensuring absolute partner satisfaction. Often liaising among multiple internal and external teams to problem solve any issues that arise during the process or finding ways to make things easier. Aside from onboarding partners, she also ensures that the enablement team is set up for success with all the tools necessary to complete tasks. She keeps our processes well documented and up to date to reflect current practices within the team, including our internal new employee training program.
Ensuring our partners’ success is our success
The key to making partners successful is listening, communication and organization. She ensures partners questions, concerns and expectations are heard and met. It’s important to know what is important to our partners and to stay true to that for the onboarding experience. Communication is extremely important to keep onboardings running smoothly. Making sure to always keep the partner abreast of any roadblocks, updates or pertinent information to their onboarding. The more partners know, the better. Organization also plays a key part in success. She organizes onboarding process according to the partner’s preference(s). This means weekly update calls, emails with status updates, and tracking onboarding progress for internal team’s review. These play a key role in a successful rollout and a happy partner!
Joelle embodies the qualities of a Rising Female Star. Her nominator shared that ‘Joelle is amazing, an absolute enablement rock star. She is known for her multitasking skills and infallible follow-up. It’s amazing how much she can handle, and no matter how much work she has on her plate, she handles it with grace and care, and simply gets it done. She’s well known by many of our partners as a result because she’s just so good!’
