The environment has changed significantly in the past two years for businesses and managed service providers (MSPs) alike. While businesses embraced digitalization and fast-tracked their cloud adoption, it has created new opportunities, and challenges for MSPs. Recognizing the ever-evolving MSP landscape, Barracuda MSP, the MSP-dedicated division of Barracuda Networks, introduced Global MSP Day five years ago, to recognize and celebrate MSPs around the world, while providing an opportunity for MSPs, vendors, and end-user customers to collaborate, interact, and share success, best practices, and key industry insights.

“We’re looking forward to this year’s Global MSP Day – which should be the biggest and best yet!” says Neal Bradbury, SVP, Barracuda MSP. “The role of the MSP has certainly evolved, especially in the recent years, and this will provide a forum for MSPs to connect, celebrate their successes, and position themselves to best capitalize on the opportunities ahead of them.”

What to expect from Global MSP Day 2022

This year’s MSP Day will feature our 5th edition of The Evolving Landscape of the MSP Business Report. The report highlights the trends and opportunities MSPs are seeing around the world. As well as the challenges many are encountering, especially around the cybersecurity talent shortage, the increasingly volatile cyberthreat landscape, and the expanded perimeter to the cloud and popular SaaS applications.

We are also delighted to have Richard Tubb as our MSP Day 2022 guest speaker. Richard Tubb, a former Managed Service Provider (MSP) business owner, now an IT business growth expert from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the Northeast of England. He has been providing expert advice to help MSPs grow their IT business since 2003, and he has helped hundreds of MSPs free up their time, concentrate on what is truly important, and make more money. Richard will be sharing his insight on a few topics, including the growing challenge that MSPs around the world are facing: continuously chasing their growth aspirations while guarding against employees becoming stressed and burnt out. We are excited to be able to sit down with Richard Tubb, as it is always a pleasure to hear his thoughts and expert industry knowledge.

CompTIA, Computing Technology Industry Association, a leading independent source of information on technology topics such as cybersecurity, education, training, and certification of the global tech workforce, will also be joining us to share their new cybersecurity programs that can help MSPs build cyber resilience.
